This has to be one of the best views for a short hike in the area. Start from the Crawford notch train station.

Drive to the height of Hurricain Mountain Road to the start, it's a short hike to a very open summit.

A consistent climb up to the summit with 360-degree views and a fire tower. 5.7 miles and 2,565 ft elevation gain.

Offers excellent views across the valley to the Moats and south to Chocorua.

This is a loop hike through woods with lots of large, interesting boulders. Several ledges offer great views.
